Leila Beikmohamadi
Graduate Student Intern
Leila Beikmohamadi graduated with a bachelor’s in psychology from
the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She is currently a 2nd
year master’s student at Western Carolina’s Clinical Psychology
program. Between her undergraduate and master’s program she worked
at Hinds’ Feet Farm, a day program center for adults with traumatic
brain injuries, as a direct care specialist. She is interested in
working with adults with anxiety and mood disorders and learning more
about cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based
therapies. After she graduates from her master’s program, she hopes
to pursue a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. For fun, she enjoys
climbing and doing aerial arts.
