Matthew Dodge graduated with a bachelor's in engineering and psychology from Western Carolina University. He is currently a 2nd year master's student in Western Carolina University's Clinical Psychology program. Throughout his undergraduate and master's program, he has worked alongside his mentor to develop a mental health screener and has been invested in personality and social-emotional assessment research as well as factors relating to suicidality. Matthew is interested in working with adults with anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders using cognitive behavioral therapy, client-centered therapy, and mindfulness-based therapies through the means of individual or group therapy. After graduating from his master's program, he plans to earn a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in clinical psychology. Outside of psychology, he enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, and photography..
