Pepper Basham, M.S. CCC-SLP
Assessment & Treatment for speech-language and/or social communication disorders.
Pepper Basham has been working in the field of speech-language pathology for twenty years, with a majority of those years focused on children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She was privileged to work with Autism Specialist Dr. Lynn Adams at Radford University, who started the Radford University Autism Center. When a move placed her at East Tennessee State University, she developed and ran ETSU's Social Communication Clinic for school-aged children. She's served children and adults for various speech-language needs, and most recently worked at Invest Collegiate Imagine – a charter school in Asheville, NC. Her area of specialty is higher-level language skills and social communication deficits, but she loves learning about new ways to support children and adults with communication needs. She's a native of the Blue Ridge Mountains on the border of Virginia and North Carolina, a mom of five, and an author.
