Richard Matney, B.A.
Psychological & Records Administration
Richard Matney is currently working on his master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology through Adler University. He served as an intern for ACAPS before deciding to join our staff as a psychometrist. He comes to us after working two years as a teaching assistant in a self-contained intensive intervention classroom, where he worked closely with children with autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental disabilities. His other related work experience includes several years conducting research on LGBT+ depression and suicide. Richard is excited to be a member of the ACAPS team and hopes to use this opportunity to learn as much as he can from the diverse and experienced staff.
